Filling station abbreviations, DPK, AGO, PMS, meanings?

When you go to the filling station and you see those abbreviations (DPK AGO PMS, ATK, LPG), have you ever wondered what the full words of each abbreviations are?

I made my research this morning to see what they mean and here are the full meaning of some of the abbreviations:

  • DPK - Dual Purpose Kerosene
  • AGO - Automotive Gas Oil
  • PMS - Premium motor spirit
  • ATK - Aviation Turbine Kerosene
  • LPG - Liquefied Petroleum Gas aka cooking gas
  • LPFO - Low Pour Fuel Oil (LPFO).

Nice one, but all filling stations should be putting the exact name and not be confusing us.
