Did you know that they have Davido's Day in the United States?

Last year, the Mayor of Houston, Sylvester Turner, announced the proclamation of Davido's Day in Houston, Texas.

In the statement, he declared, "I, Sylvester Turner, Mayor of the city of Houston, do hereby proclaim July 7, 2023, as Davido Day."

The Mayor's proclamation came after Davido's successful sold-out show at the renowned Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.

Wizkid received a similar honor in 2019 when he became the first African artist to sell out the Skyway Theatre in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.
