To apply for the Nigerian Navy Recruitment 2023-2024, visit the official Navy recruitment portal at the Nigerian Navy Official Website. Complete the application form provided during the application period and ensure all required documents are attached.

Applications are open for special enlistment into the Nigerian Navy through the Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) Course 29. Online registration commences on December 27, 2023, and closes on February 7, 2024.


Here are the requirements for the Nigerian Navy Recruitment 2023-2024:

1. You must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
2. Providing false information or fake certificates will result in disqualification and possible prosecution.
3. Minimum qualifications include Second Class Upper Division for first-degree holders, Upper Credit for HND holders, and computer literacy is an advantage.
4. Full registration with relevant professional bodies in Nigeria is required.
5. Certificates from foreign institutions must be authenticated by the Federal Ministry of Education.
6. O'level West African Examination Certificate (WAEC) is compulsory, including credits in Mathematics and English.
7. NYSC discharge certificate or exemption letter is necessary.
8. Height requirements: male applicants must be at least 1.68 meters tall, and female applicants must be at least 1.65 meters tall.
9. Age limit: 22 to 28 years old by March 25, 2024, except for Medical Officers, who must not exceed 30 years.
10. Serving personnel from other military or paramilitary services require a letter of attestation signed by their unit heads.

Candidates must bring the following when they appear for the aptitude test:
  • Parent/Guardian Consent Form.
  • Acknowledgment Form.
  • Photocopies of Degree and NYSC Discharge Certificate.
  • Photocopies of foreign certificates (if any).
