The MTN night plan was introduced in 2016 by MTN to provide their users on the MTN Pulse tariff plan with access to 500MB for just N50 or 250MB for N25.
How to migrate to MTN Pulse
To migrate to MTN Pulse, follow these steps:
- Dial *123#.
- Select option 2 to choose tariff plan migration.
- Select option 1 to choose Pulse, and follow the prompts to complete the migration process
If you are already on MTN pulse, then ignore this step but if you are not, then don't skip.
How to activate MTN night plan
To subscribe to MTN Night plan, follow the steps below:
- Dial *406#.
- Type 3 and send.
- Choose the desired amount you wish to purchase (N25 for 250MB or N50 for 500MB).
- Opt to buy with either airtime or Pulse points.
- Select option 1 to confirm your purchase.
- You will then receive a message confirming the successful subscription to the night plan.
How to verify your MTN night plan balance
- Dial *406#
- Choose option 3 for MTN night plan
- Respond with option 3 again to check your MTN night data balance.
You will then receive an SMS containing your night plan data balance.
Keep in mind that there's a limit of 2GB per night for the MTN night plan. This means that after subscribing to a total of 2GB for the night, you'll need to wait until the following night to purchase another plan.
